November 8, 2020
Caleb Anderson is currently a 12-year-old freshman at Chattahoochee Technical College. He is a fast learner and gets information quicker than most people, confirming his exceptional abilities.
When Caleb was nine months old he started signing to communicate with his parents. Then at the age of 2, he read the preamble of the US Constitution and started first grade. All of these milestones happened in only a span of two years. His mother and father were amazed by his abilities at such a young age. “At certain points, it was doubts, unbelief, surprise. Kind of all mixed with different feelings.” Caleb’s dad said.
As Caleb grew older people started doubting his parent’s claims of their extraordinary child.“It almost felt like I had to convince people that this child is exceptional.” Claire Anderson said,
“And that is why I made the decision to go ahead and get him tested in MENSA because I wanted for something that I believe in my heart, and in my child to be true for other people to see it also”
MENSA is a non-profit organization that is open to anyone who scores 98th percentile or above on any supervised IQ or intelligence test. Caleb joined MENSA at five years old. This supported his mother’s belief that he was gifted academically.
As Caleb first started school he far surpassed all his classmates from elementary all the way to middle school. When Caleb reached middle school he was targeted by his peers due to him being an intellectually gifted student. “At my middle school, a lot of people treated me like I was an alien,” Caleb said.
As if being bullied by classmates wasn’t enough, “I was in middle school and I really didn’t like it, it was really boring. And I wasn’t learning anything, I wasn’t being challenged.” Caleb said. Middle school swept a blanket of boredom and limitation over Caleb. Until he took action and asked his parents if there was another option for him academically. That’s what planted the seed for him to go to college at age 12.
As always anyone who wants to go to college has to take the entry test. “When he aced the college entry exam. I was ecstatic. But I almost felt vindicated. Because now. Others can see what I’ve always seen,” Claire Anderson said. After he passed the entry exams, It became clear to many that Caleb had gifted abilities.
During Caleb’s first month of his incredible journey in college, he was elated by the difference in the way the students treated him. “They welcomed me, it was like I was like, you know, their little brother. And, like I was a friend and I really, that really you know that welcomed environment.” Caleb said. He felt the welcoming environment made it less stressful, and he was much happier.
Now that Caleb is being surrounded by peers with his level of confidence, drive, hard work, and knowledge he is able to thrive. “It really helped me with my grades and helped me with my life, and I’m really glad that happened,” Caleb said. Currently, he is beginning his sophomore year of college.
His mother had wise counsel for anyone like Caleb. “Follow your dream, there’s nothing not normal with loving to learn.” Claire Anderson said

This article is very well written and informs the reader of Caleb’s amazing achievements. It is extraordinary that he started first grade at the age of two and attended college at the age of twelve. Many adults have not achieved what Caleb has achieved in just twelve years. This article shows that you should try your hardest to fulfill your potential.

This article really encapsulates the exceptional abilities that Caleb Anderson has. it is crazy that he was able to accomplish in only 12 years that many adults haven’t completed in their entire lives, go to college. It is very awe-inspiring to see that anything is possible no matter if you are old or young. While many people haven’t heard of this wonderful child it is clear to every one who has that he is special. This proves that you should never give up on your dream because you never know if what you are chasing is only one step ahead of you. Great work by this author.

This is exceptional for someone of such a youth who is capable of achieving and overcoming complicated obstacles to get to where he is currently. The writer, Hastee M., did an exceptional job of depicting this arising prodigy and all the challenges he had to face. I am stunned that an individual around my age can accomplish tremendous feats such as this. It’s inspiring to people around my age and pushes them to do exceptional in their academics.

This is an extraordinary accomplishment for a 12 year old. The fact that someone our age is already acing college entry test and going to college is insane. This shows that if you work hard enough people our age could go to college to. Caleb alone going to college at a young age is insane but, him also making good grades in college at age 12 is mind-blowing. I would never think somebody that young could even pass the college entry exam but, Caleb has proved me wrong. It is also amazing that the other students welcomed him and didn’t judge him on his age. Like Caleb said, him being welcomed helped him with his grades and with his moral in general.

This is above all impressive, for Caleb to be able to resit the preamble which is 52 words at the age most kids start saying complete sentences. This article is written in a way that I was excited to read more of his accomplishments. In Georgia only about 67.7% of kids go to college so for him to go at 12 is amazing. I love the way you put his past and what he hopes to accomplish in the future, so we can look out for his name. I wonder how he even knew the preamble or if his parents taught him. This story inspires me that I can do whatever if I put hard work into it.

This is an amazing accomplishment at such a young age for Caleb. It’s crazy to think that someone the same age as me is in college. It’s unbelievable and extremely impressive that he performed so well on all those tests in a very short amount of time. It is truly inspiring to know Caleb, who is close to my age, can do something like this! That tells us that we can do it too! If we push ourselves to be determined and stay on the right path. The writer explained Caleb Anderson’s goals so well! When I first read it I was surprised that someone could manage all this. Also I’m very intrigued as to how his parents knew he would do well in college away from them. I wonder how hard it must have been for them to say goodbye to their child. This is so amazing, it encourages me to try harder and reach my goals.

This is an amazing article. It was very intriguing and the writer did a very good job. It is unbelievable that he was able to accelerate that much in such a short amount of time. Whereas it takes average learners many more years to come to this point of knowledge. It is truly inspiring that someone is this determined and willing to push themselves to the limits. The text was so detailed and explained everything so well. Reading through the article it is unbelievable how Caleb was able to manage all of this, and still ace all the tests that he took.

Having that much knowledge being that young is crazy! I can never imagine a 12 year old in college doing better than most of the other college students. He can inspire so many other children to push themselves and know that the sky’s the limit.

It’s amazing and impressive how he was able to ace so many tests like a breeze, while many other people older than him continue to struggle with those tests. He is a perfect example to people and he proves that almost anything’s possible if you put your mind to it.
